- @CNBC — Central African Republic becomes second country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender. A unanimous vote by lawmakers passed a bill legalizing crypto, making Central African Republic the second country to do so after El Salvador.
- @Yahoo — Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover pushes dogecoin price up 30%. Dogecoin saw a 30% jump last Tuesday and made a parabolic move after Musk agreed to buy Twitter for roughly $44 billion dollars.
- @Reuters — Panama passes bill to permit use of crypto assets. This bill allows private and public use of crypto assets, and makes paying taxes with cryptocurrencies possible. The legislation’s scope is broader than what was passed in El Salvador.
- @CoinDesk— BAYC Team Raises $285M With Otherside NFTs, Clogs Ethereum. In 24 hours, traders have already spent more than $176 million dollars in fees to grab one of the 55,000 “Otherdeeds” NFTs.
- @Cointelegraph — Record-high surge in Ethereum Name Service domains triggers 90% rally in ENS. On May 2, the price of ENS soared to a daily high of $27.65, an increase of 91.75% since it hit a low of $14. This comes after a record month of growth for ENS.
