- @The Guardian — Cryptocurrency Ethereum Plans to Cut Carbon Emissions by 99% with Upgrade. After the merge, the Ethereum proof-of-work network will switch to an energy-efficient proof-of-stake network which will result in reducing carbon emission by 99%.

Indicated by the latest report released by global payroll specialist Deel, Crypto payments made up 5% of wages earned by cross-border professionals during the first half of 2022 – up from 2% in six months prior.

- @CoinDesk — Indonesia’s Biggest Tech Firm Enters Crypto With Purchase of Local Exchange: Report. Per a report from Reuters, GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), the biggest technology firm in Indonesia entered the cryptocurrency market by acquiring local exchange PT Kripto Maksima Koin.
