- @CoinDesk — El Salvador Purchases 80 Additional Bitcoin at $19K, President Bukele Says. The country’s last Bitcoin purchase was in May. “Bitcoin is the future. Thank you for selling cheap,” Bukele tweeted.
- @PYMNTS — Facebook Pilots Ethereum, Polygon NFTs with Select Creators. This move follows Instagram’s NFT pilot and is similar in nature. The NFTs will show under a “digital collectibles” label. For now, posts cannot be turned into paid ads.
- @TechCrunch — Reddit is launching a new NFT avatar marketplace. The marketplace allows individuals to buy blockchain-based profile pictures for a fixed rate. Reddit announced that it is releasing “tens of thousands” of NFTs and a total of 90 designs.
- @Businessinsider — Elon Musk’s Boring Company will now accept payment in Dogecoin for underground rides in Las Vegas. According to a report, the company now accepts DOGE for rides in its Las Vegas Loop.
- @Decrypt — NFL Expands Ticket Stub NFTs to Over 100 Games for 2022 Season. After last season’s commemorative NFT ticket stub experiment, the NFL is now offering NFTs for almost five times as many regular season games in its 2022 season.
